Rev. Enger Muteteke

Ministry Experience

Rev. Muteteke is an ordained, Full Elder in the Baltimore Washington Conference. She has served in various capacities – in both the local church and nonprofit organizations: Assistant Minister at Severna Park UMC (2006-2008), Director of Nursery and Children’s Ministries and Associate Pastor at Glen Burnie UMC (2010-2015), and as National Program Director at Lutheran Volunteer Corps in Washington, DC (2015-2017). Rev. Muteteke previously served on loan to the Greater New Jersey Conference for the last 4 years in pastoral ministry with nearly all her ministry in cross racial/cross cultural appointments.

Education

Rev. Muteteke holds a Bachelor of Arts in Government from The College of William and Mary, two Masters’ degrees in Theology from Wesley Theological Seminary, a Master of Arts in Social Responsibility and Sustainable Communities from Western Kentucky University, and a Graduate Certificate in Nonprofit Management from Walden University.
