Learning Goal

In this module, the goal is to gain a clear understanding of how a colorblind framework flattens humanity – especially non-dominant races and cultures.  

Main Takeaway

When we do not see color, we are refusing to see the full culture and humanity of the other.  

Call to Action

Become more self-aware of their own theology and how the use of scripture has supported the use of race neutral phrases (“I don’t see color,” “We are all God’s children,” “We are all the same,” etc.), and engage self-reflection to begin changing the mindset.
